The Yard Waste Center at 1065 W. Buchanan St. in Washington is open Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm The following Saturday dates: April 13, 20, 27 May, 4, 11, 18 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. The center will not be open on holiday weekends. Residents are welcome to haul and dispose of their yard waste and brush at the Yard Waste Center. There are two piles of yard waste. One pile is for tree branches, and the other is for yard and garden waste. Please place yard waste in the appropriate pile if you are hauling it yourself. If you bring yard waste in plastic bags, please remember to dump out the contents and take the bags with you. The center does not accept any type of building materials or other debris. So remember, if you didn’t grow it, don’t throw it.
