The Washington Community Theater has announced the audition dates and guidance for its June production of the beloved musical, he Sound of Music. Auditions will be held at the Washington Community Center Wednesday, April 17, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, April 18, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, April 20, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. If call-backs are necessary, they are set for Sunday, April 21, 1:00 -3:00  p.m. and Tuesday, April 23, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Scripts are available to check out at the Washington Public Library. Those interested in auditioning are asked to visit the Theater’s website, www.wctheater.com, to access the sign-up sheet for audition time slots. Walk-ins will be accommodated around the sign-up schedule. The show will be presented on two weekends, June 21-23 and June 28-30. Cast members must be available for all performance dates. Rehearsals will start on April 25 and run through June 20. The show will be under the direction of Ed Colby and Michael Jewell of Washington.
