The Hillcrest Academy soccer team turned a Tuesday trip to Sigourney for a non-conference match into a business trip, ending action early with a 10-0 win. Hillcrest scored five times in each half, ending the game in the 85th minute. Rowan Miller led the way offensively with a hat trick plus one, Micah Gerber tallied three times for his own hat trick, and Jesse Blossom, Phoenix Anderson and Isaac Birky each scored once. Seth Ours and Mason Swarztendruber each had a pair of assists while Lincoln Miller, Isaac Beachy and Blossom all had one helper. Kyle Neuschwander finished with a clean sheet and one save. The Ravens dominated team stats, with 36 total shots, 24 of those on goal, nine corner kicks and a PK. Hillcrest is now 3-0 on the year with a trip to Notre Dame Friday, while the Savages fall to 1-2 and will try to bounce back Friday at home against Highland.
