The Hillcrest Academy Raven soccer team looks to make it four wins in a row to start 2024 when they travel to Burlington Notre Dame tonight to matchup with the Nikes. Hillcrest is 3-0 after wins over WACO, Central Lee and Sigourney by a combined 16-1 score, including a 10-0 win over the Savages in 75 minutes Tuesday, where Rowan Miller scored four times, Micah Gerber had a hat trick and Jesse Blossom, Phoenix Anderson and Isaac Birky added individual goals while Mason Swartzendruber, Seth Ours and Lincoln Miller had two assists each with Kyle Neuschwander and Andrew Kauffmann combining on the clean sheet win. The Ravens have 40 shots on goal and a 92% team save percentage. Miller’s six goals lead the way as do Blossom and Swartzendruber with three assists each and Neuschwander with seven saves.

Burlington Notre Dame is 0-3 this year, dropping matches to Davenport Assumption, WACO and Fort Madison by a combined 8-0 count. The Bloodhounds beat the Nikes on Tuesday 4-0. Notre Dame has 17 shots on goal and a 77% save percentage. The Nikes have won eight straight in the series with the Ravens including a 5-1 victory last season. The last Hillcrest win was 2018. Action starts tonight at 5p.m. at Notre Dame High School.
