The Washington County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest Wednesday of a Keota woman wanted on multiple warrants.

According to the communications report, 41-year-old Amy Thompson of Keota was wanted out of Centerville for failure to appear on an original charge of a controlled substance violation. Additionally, Thompson was wanted out of Keokuk County for a violation of probation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance, third or subsequent offense, a class D felony. 

Thompson was transported to the Washington County Jail to await extradition.
