On April 11th, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report that the Clarinda Correctional Facility had a person in custody that had a warrant for Washington County. Thirty-eight-year-old Jeremy James of Wayland was wanted in Washington for possession of a controlled substance in a correctional institution, a Class C felony, and failing to affix a drug stamp, a Class D felony.  Bond is set at $50,000, and a detainer was placed with the Clarinda Correctional Facility.
