The Washington Demons competed in their first 18-hole event of the girls’ golf season yesterday at the Oskaloosa Tournament at Edmundson Golf Course. Washington finished 10th as a team with a cumulative score of 453 strokes.

Maci Williams had the Demons’ best individual score with a 23-over-par 95 and was 12th overall. Fellow senior Natalie Prochaska and junior Lauren Hinrichsen each shot 116 for Washington, which will next play Monday at Flint Hills Golf Course in Burlington in a Southeast Conference meet.
