The Washington Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday to celebrate the renovation of Winga’s Cafe into Northside Diner.  Winga’s opened on April 18th, 1928, and transitioned to the new owners, Ed & Isabella Santoro, not too long ago. Even though they are not quite ready to open for business as Northside, they opened their doors to commemorate the grand opening of Winga’s 96 years ago. The Northside Diner will open once staff have been hired and trained.
