The Washington City Council discussed hiring a consulting firm for the City Administrator search at their meeting on Tuesday. Mayor Pro-Tem Millie Youngquist gives more information, “One is an Iowa based business and the other is a National, or they are out of Illinois, and both would start roughly within two weeks.” The Council approved hiring Thea Management for the City Administrator search. McCusker began in the position in January of 2022; she gave her sixty day notice on March 25th.
