On Wednesday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report from Iowa City Police that they were with a subject with Washington County warrants. They arrested 22-year-old Camrin Lucas of Iowa City on four counts of sexual abuse in the third degree, Class C felonies, and two counts of incest, Class D felonies. These charges stem from an investigation done by the Washington Sheriff’s Office and a caseworker with the Department of Health and Human Services in February of this year. It was determined during the investigation that the abuse occurred during the years from 2014 to 2021 while Lucas lived in Washington County. Lucas is being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond in the Washington County Jail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for April 26th.
