Residents of Richmond or the Kalona SouthTown area are advised that hydrant flushing begins today, and continues through Friday, April 26.

Flushing will take place between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. During these times lower water pressure and/or water discoloration are possible. While the water is safe to consume, doing laundry while hydrants are being flushed could also result in clothing stains.
