US Senator Chuck Grassley spoke with KCII News about his thoughts on the restructuring of the RNC, “I think it’s got more to do with making sure that we deliver the vote. And with the new leadership, their committed to beef up that effort to get early vote out, and make sure that its an honest vote according to law.”  The restructuring occurred in early March with the installation of Charlie Spies, who recently served as the architect of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s presidential effort, will take over as chief counsel. Lara Trump, Daughter-In-Law of current Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump was also installed as the organization’s co-chair earlier this spring, and dozens of previous staff members were not retained. Lara Trump has made 2020 election fraud claims and funneling party funding and donations specifically toward Donald Trump’s campaign and legal fees priorities.
