The Washington County Board of Supervisors heard the quarterly report from General Assistance and Veterans Affairs at their Tuesday meeting. County Veterans Service Officer Sue Rich gave the report, “For this quarter we did one utility assistance for $200, and we had a total of three applications, one was approved, one withdrawn, and one denied. We’ve got $2,922.05 that we’ve spent this quarter, that included a burial. We’ve had two burials this fiscal year, which is the bulk of our expenses.” The supervisors approved both reports.
