Washington County 4-H hosted its annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, April 20, at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The breakfast was held from 7:00-10:30 a.m., serving pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, juice, milk and coffee. Over 800 people enjoyed the breakfast meal served by a combined effort of 90 4-H members and adult volunteers. 150 pounds of pancake mix, 800 eggs, 35 gallons of milk/OJ, and three processed hogs of sausage were consumed by visitors. Money raised will support the 4-H enrollment fees of the Washington County 4-H members. This was the first year Mike Berdo served as the 4-H pancake breakfast chairman, the event was previously chaired by Vicki Fisher.
