It was a clean sweep for the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls golf teams in a set of River Valley Conference duals against West Liberty Monday. The Golden Hawk girls were a winner on the road by a 200-229 team score. Elliot Debler led the way for the Hawks, earning meet medalist honors with her round of 48. Other scores for Mid-Prairie included Morgyn Bender 49, Gabi Robertson 51, Madi Davidson and Olivia Swartzentruber 52 each and Addison English 54.
The boys edged out the Comets in Kalona 170-172. Grayson Gingerich shot a PR 39 to lead the Hawks and earn medal honors. Other Mid-Prairie scores included Ace Peck and Bryce Henry with 43s, 45 for Denver Nelson, 46 for Clayton Davidson and 53 for Andrew Rath.
The Golden Hawk girls and boys are both in action next at the River Valley Conference Championship meets in Muscatine, with the girls teeing up Tuesday and the boys Wednesday.
