Earlier this month, Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) announced the appointment of Dr. Jeremy Pickard as the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs.

Pickard has held a number of positions in his two decades at EICC, including a member of the business faculty, Associate Director of ATEEC, Dean of Instruction at Muscatine Community College, and Dean of Agriculture, Business, and Professional Services. Pickard also served as a member of the Mid-Prairie School Board for 14 years.

Among the many responsibilities of a Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs, the position calls for overseeing academic planning, academic program review, and curriculum development. Pickard will assume the role, effective Saturday, June 1.
