The Washington FFA members hosted an Animal Day at the local Elementary schools, the UP Home, and Halcyon House on Monday, April 22. Members brought in animals so the students and residents could learn about the animals and have some time to interact with each of them. FFA members set up stations that they were at and educated the elementary students about the animals that were there. After a short presentation the students were allowed to ask any questions that they had and were allowed to pet the animals.
