The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls soccer teams take the pitch tonight for a pair of contests when the boys host Prince of Peace and the girls get Northeast Goose Lake in Wellman. The Golden Hawk boys are 6-5 this season after a 3-1 loss Monday at No. 2 Iowa City Regina where Tucker Miller scored the lone goal on a PK. On the season, the Hawks have outscored their opponents, 18-17 in total with 173 shots, 80 on goal, 47 corner kicks, 13 assists and 85 saves with an 83% team save percentage. Individually, Miller and Beau Flynn each have four goals, Miller has three assists and in goal, Joe Hall has 67 saves with an 84% save percentage. Prince of Peace is 3-5 this season after a 3-0 Monday win over Bellevue where Carson DeBo scored twice. On the year, the Irish have been outscored 24-21 with 147 shots, 96 on goal, 27 corner kicks 15 assists and 129 saves with an 84% team save percentage. Individually, DeBo leads with seven goals, Jaxon Dehner has five assists and in goal, Billy Deluhery has allowed 24 goals. These teams met a season ago with the Irish getting an 8-3 win.

The Mid-Prairie girls are 6-4 on the season after a 2-0 home loss to Regina Monday. On the year, the Hawks have been outscored 24-18 in total with 124 shots, 62 on goal, 36 corner kicks, seven assists and 148 saves with an 86% team save percentage. Individually, Elise Gingerich leads with 10 goals, she and Zoey Curtiss each have two assists and in goal, Niva Helmuth has 103 saves with an 84% save percentage. Northeast Goose Lake is 1-8 this year. The Rebels lost to Bellevue 11-1 on Monday with their lone goal coming from Tabitha Eshelman. On the season, the Rebels have been outscored 73-3 in total with 32 shots, five on goal, 12 corners, two assists and 276 saves with a 79% team save percentage. Individual leaders include Eshelman with two goals, Bailey Burken with two assists and in goal, 60 saves with an 81% save percentage for Kylie Petersen. Mid-Prairie has won three in a row over Northeast including a 2-1 victory last season.
