Wednesday, the best on the links in the Southeast Iowa Superconference vied for hardware at the 2024 boys conference championship meet in Fort Madison.

Top area team finish came from Winfield-Mt. Union in fourth of 15 teams with their 18-hole total of 348. Mediapolis won the league crown with a 324. The Wolves were led by Carter Loyd and Cody Milks with matching 86s for 15th and 16th place overall. They were followed by Konner Kinneberg 87, Justin Knipfer 89, Max Edwards 90 and Grant Anderson 100. Loyd and Milks were both named third team All-Conference.

Hillcrest Academy was seventh with a 375 total. Raven scores included area leader Liam Schrock at 83 for seventh place overall, along with Seth Ours 88, Lawson Schrock 98, Rylan Goode 106, Ethan Yoder 107 and Matthew Chalupa 108. Liam Schrock was a second team All-Superconference selection.

Columbus was ninth with a 401. Best Wildcat round came from Kason Dopler with a 95 for 36th. Other scores included Ryan Coil 98, Cael Phillips 101, Cole Storm 107, Payton White 109 and Mason Hardy 135.

Lone Tree was 12th with a 418 total. Top day for the Lions came from Lukas Fuhrmeister at 99 for 43rd overall. Other Lone Tree scores included Dominic Graap 104, Jack Patterson 105, Cade Willoz 110 and Clemens Swaink 139.

Highland was 13th with a 427. Colten Sypherd had an 84 day to lead placing ninth overall. He was followed by William Dunbar 106, Isaac Giesman 113 and Tate Stumpf 124. Sypherd was a second team All-Conference pick.

WACO was 15th with a 454 team total. Warrior leader was Noah Fried with a 108 for 63rd overall, followed by Malachi Rinner 110, Brian Neal 112 and John McLaughlin 124.
