The Washington Public Library has been busy with the construction of the MakeIT Place. While there have been some delays, they are hoping to open sometime this month. The space will provide a multitude of activities including, 3D printing, laser cutting and engraving, crafting, sewing and quilting, memory lab, pottery studio, recording studio, graphic design, and a children’s STEM area. The MakeIT Place is a project supported by the Washington Free Public Library Foundation.
