Two duals and two wins Monday for the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls golf teams as they took down the Durant Wildcats in River Valley Conference action. The Mid-Prairie boys were a winner by a 171-237 score in Kalona. Greyson Gingerich and Drew Schlabaugh led Mid-Prairie with 41s to finish as medalist and medalist runner-up respectively. Other scores for the Hawks included Denver Nelson 43, Andrew Rath 46, Ace Peck 47 and Clayton Davidson 54. The Golden Hawk boys finish the regular season at 29-15 overall, 4-1 in duals against teams in the RVC South, and get ready for sectionals Tuesday in Kalona.

The Mid-Prairie girls finished a road trip to Durant Monday with a 188-212 win. The Hawks were led by Madi Davidson’s 44 as medalist runner-up. Other Golden Hawk scores included Elliot Debler’s 47, Addison English 48, Gabi Robertson 49, Morgyn Bender 51 and Olivia Swartzentruber 59. The Golden Hawk girls are now 34-4 and travel back to Wahkonsa today for an RVC quad with West Branch, Wilton and West Liberty.
