The Sigourney Savages took part in this year’s South Iowa Cedar League Tournament for girls’ golf Monday at Oskaloosa Public Golf Course. Sigourney finished sixth as a team with a score of 496 strokes, led by senior Emma Hammes shooting a round of 118 and finishing eighth overall. The Savages will now prepare for their Class 1A Sub-Regional tournament Friday that they will host at Sigourney Golf Club.
