This year, three students from Washington High School have the unique distinction of earning an associates degree in the same month as they receive their high school diploma. With focused educational goals and careful planning, they have earned a combined total of 194.5 college credit hours, equaling a tuition savings of $40,845. Lane Schrock will be attending Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska for Finance. Taylor Bartholomew will be attending Drake University in Des Moines for Pre-Pharmacy, and Giselle Marcelino will be attending Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids for Nursing.
