On Friday, the Washington Police Department responded to an alarm at 1229 S Iowa Ave. Upon arrival, they discovered and arrested 64-year-old Candy Morningstar of Wayland on the charges of third-degree burglary, a Class D Felony, possession of burglar’s tools, an aggravated misdemeanor, and third-degree criminal mischief, an aggravated misdemeanor. Bail was set at $5000 with a preliminary hearing scheduled for May 14th.
