The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls soccer teams make the longest trip in the River Valley Conference today when they travel to Bellevue with ideas of spoiling Senior Night for the Comets. The Mid-Prairie boys are 8-6 this year after a 3-2 loss at Maquoketa Wednesday. On the season, the Golden Hawks have outscored their opponents 25-23 in total with 215 shots, 96 on goal, 54 corners, 18 assists and 98 saves with an 83% team save percentage. Individual leaders are Tucker Miller, Beau Flynn and Peyton Fox all with four goals, Miller with five assists and in goal, Joe Hall has 80 saves with an 83% save percentage.

Bellevue is 4-9 this year after beating Tipton 1-0 Monday. The Comets have been outscored 47-27 in total this year with 158 shots, 76 on goal, 46 corner kicks, 16 assists and 162 saves with a 78% team save percentage. Individual leaders are Ben Meyer with eight goals, Logan Kloser with five assists and in goal, Hunter Putman has 129 saves and an 82% save percentage. These teams have one all-time meeting with Mid-Prairie getting a 6-1 victory last season.

The Golden Hawk girls are 7-6 on the season after a tough 3-2 Senior Night loss in Wellman to rival Washington Thursday. On the year, the Hawks have been outscored 29-26 in total with 174 shots, 98 on goal, 45 corner kicks, eight assists and 182 saves with an 87% team save percentage. Individual leaders include Elise Gingerich with 12 goals and three assists and Niva Helmuth with 114 saves and an 85% save percentage.

Bellevue is 3-8 this year after dropping a 3-1 decision to Tipton Monday. The Comets have scored and given up exactly 32 goals this year with 172 shots, 106 on goal, 25 corner kicks 24 assists and 102 saves with a 65% team save percentage. Individual leaders are Olivia Orris with nine goals, Callie Recker with six assists and Olivia Carter with 101 saves and a 66% save percentage.

Action starts tonight at 5p.m. with the girls contest first and the boys to follow in Bellevue.
