At their meeting on Tuesday evening, the Washington City Council heard a special event request from the Washington Public Library for their Summer Reading activities in Central Park, Youth Services Librarian Jenisa Harris and Family Services Librarian Alison Greiner gave the presentation, “As always, all of these programs are free programs for our Community, and you are all welcome to attend them, and we would love to see you there if you are able.” The Council approved the use of Central Park for the program.
