Four years of hard work come to fruition Sunday for the Columbus Class of 2024. The seniors will be honored with a graduation ceremony beginning at 1 p.m. in the main gym.

Doors will open to the public at noon, and all guests are advised that balloons will not be allowed at the ceremony. Performances will be heard from both the band and chorus, as well as a speech from Distinguished Graduate, Bill Schwab, from the Columbus Class of 1992. Valedictorian, Brenna Schwab, will speak, translated into Spanish by Jennifer Montiel-Cordova. Cael Phillips will give the Salutatorian speech, translated by Damian Vergara.

Class color for the Wildcat seniors is pink and their class flower is the hibiscus pink chiffon. As they put the wraps on their high school careers, the class motto is “Take pride in how far you have come. Have faith in how far you can go. But don’t forget to enjoy the journey.”
