This week, Hillcrest head coach Kent Blossom talked with KCII Sports about what has him most excited for the upcoming season.

Blossom said, “I’m excited for more consistency. Both on the defensive end and at the plate. I firmly believe Malia (Yoder) is one of the best pitchers in the conference. Her competitiveness is going to keep us in every game, and it’s going to be a matter of if we can take control on the offensive end and limit the errors on the defensive end.”

These teams met last year with Van Buren taking a 15-3 win. Action starts tonight at 7p.m. at Van Buren High School.
