On Sunday, the Keokuk County Sheriff’s Office reported locating a subject wanted on Washington County warrants, they arrested 61-year-old Merle Thompson of Keota on Dominion control of firearm offensive weapon by felon, a Class D Felony, Violation of probation, and pretrial release revocation. Thompson is being held in the Washington County Jail on a $25,000 cash-only bond. His pretrial conference has been scheduled for June 7th.
