The price of regular unleaded gasoline in Iowa rose six cents in the last week, according to the latest Fuel Report from the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship. 

As of Wednesday, the price of unleaded gas averaged $3.30 across the State, down 10 cents from one year ago. The national average was 31 cents higher, unchanged from last week’s price. Retail diesel prices, on the other hand, fell six cents in the last week with a statewide average of $3.60. One year ago, diesel in Iowa was priced at $3.74. Like unleaded gas, the current Iowa diesel price is 31 cents lower than the national average.
