The Washington Municipal Band is a community organization with over 60 members, ages 16 to 86. Musicians come from Washington and numerous surrounding communities to play band music that we love. The conductor and music director is Tom McNamar, who’s day job is Band Director at WACO High School in nearby Wayland. The Band plays 10 concerts every summer in Washington’s Central Park in the renovated Bandshell. Concerts are Thursday evenings from 7:45 pm to 8:45 pm. Prior to the concert, the Washington Farmers Market begins at 5:00 pm and the Chamber’s Thursday Night Live concerts at 5:30 pm.
