The Johnson County Emergency Management Agency is collecting data on the damages from last Friday’s storms, and are asking residents to self-report any property damage by this Friday.

Three tornadoes were reported in the KCII listening area on May 24, two of them in portions of Johnson County. No injuries or deaths were reported, but damage was done to trees and outbuildings. Any information that is self-reported will help emergency management officials understand the full extent of damages and identify any immediate resource needs.

The self-reporting survey is open until noon on Friday, May 31. Any Johnson County residents with storm damage to report can do so by clicking here.
