The Washington County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday. During discussions regarding secondary road approval Supervisor Jack Seward Jr brought up an issue raised to him by the public, “I mentioned last week that the policy of Washington County has prevented the American Legion from performing their normal Memorial Day Ceremony on Old 92 at the bridge, the creek bridge. And I would just like to point that out, and maybe make the suggestion that we take a look at the current policy. Maybe even inquire about what our neighboring counties are doing.” The Supervisors agreed to have this item added to next week’s agenda for review and discussion.
