KCII’s Big Red Radio Summer Town Tour stop at Washington’s 77th Annual Ridiculous Day’s celebration continues today. We will be covering events today from 10 am to 6 pm. Beginning at noon, Central Park will feature a variety of activities for youth in the community, including bounce houses, pony rides from 1:30-5 pm, Touch A Truck from 1-3 pm, Modern Ag Display, and more. The Antique Tractor Parade will leave the Fairgrounds at 4 pm and make its way through the south of town, passing by area retirement homes until it meets up with the Ridiculous Day Floats for a 5 pm arrival downtown. Once the parade concludes, the downtown will transition into the annual street dance, featuring the best of country with Luke Thomas from 6:30 – 7:30 pm, followed by Tyler Richton & The High Bank Boys. A beverage tent will also be open at this time, and the concerts are free to the public. Washington’s Ridiculous Day Celebration is the longest-running of its kind in the state.
