The Lord’s Cupboard of Jefferson County is once again providing summer food assistance to the community with its LOAF Program, which begins today.

Starting on Monday, June 3, Jefferson County families with children entering K-12 next fall may be eligible for the program, which enters its 14th year. Those who meet the income requirements, which can be found at lordscupboard.org, will receive a bag of kid-friendly food and a small voucher for Hy-Vee. The LOAF Program runs through Friday, August 9.

The Lord’s Cupboard is located at 303 North 4th Street in Fairfield and open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1-3:30 p.m. plus Wednesday from 1-5 p.m. For more information, or to make a donation, contact Susan Frey at 641-472-8457.
