Greater Iowa City Inc. and the Johnson County Affordable Housing Coalition recently announced they would be holding a Listening Post Series in rural communities. On Friday, June 21, the Listening Post will be in Lone Tree.
The series aims at creating spaces where meaningful dialogue can take place on the future of rural development and housing in Johnson County. The event in Lone Tree takes place from 10 a.m. to noon next Friday at 120 West Commercial Street. At the Listening Post will be Rod Sullivan, John Green, and Jeff Kellbach with the County, Lone Tree Superintendent Tyler Hotz, Scott Hawes with Habitat for Humanity, and realtor Julie Chown.
