A Riverside woman was sentenced Tuesday to 50 years in federal prison for two counts of production of child pornography, following a guilty plea on an earlier date. This is according to the Southern District of Iowa.
According to public court documents and evidence, 36-year-old Abigail Margarete Knight, produced child sexual assault material of two minor victims between July 2020 and May 2023. Knight then sent the photos and videos of the material to one man in Texas and another in Missouri through the use of cellular phones and internet chats.
Following her sentence, Knight will be required to serve five years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system. The case was investigated by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigations, and the ICAC Task Force.
