The Winfield Police Department is seeking a full-time officer who will serve part time in the Winfield-Mt. Union Community School District as the School Resource Officer. The deadline by which to apply is today.

The SRO position will start at WMU for the 2024-25 school year, in addition to regular patrol duties. Applicants must meet the minimum hiring standards set by the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy and reside within the Winfield-Mt. Union Community School District. A detailed resume is requested with the application, which can be picked up at the Winfield City Office. They are due no later than 4:30 p.m. Friday.
