The No. 9 in Class 2A Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk baseball team dropped their fifth game in the last six Thursday at rival Iowa City Regina 2-0. Both starting pitchers, Brock Harland for the Hawks and Hudson Koch for the Regals settled into a dual. The only runs on the board for the night came in the fourth, when Regina scratched across two. The Hawks out hit Regina 4-2, and drew two walks. Luke Traetow led the way with two hits. Tatem Telfer and Brooks Weber each had one. Harland went six innings, giving up just two hits, two runs, neither earned, walked one and struck out six. Koch was the winner for the Regals, going six innings with no runs, two walks and striking out two. Tate Lynch got the save, working the seven and giving up one hit. With the loss, Mid-Prairie is now 11-6 this year as Regina climbs to 12-10.
