The Hillcrest Academy Raven boys and girls of summer are on the road tonight to meet Burlington Notre Dame and Van Buren. The Raven boys draw the top ranked Nikes. Hillcrest is 10-2 this year, 6-1, on top in the Southeast Iowa Superconference North Division, after winning both games at their home Hillcrest Classic Saturday over English Valleys and Keokuk. This year the Ravens are hitting .287 as a group with a .423OBP and .381 slug. The Ravens have 108 runs on 98 hits with 67 walks and 84 strikeouts. Five Ravens are hitting .300 or better led by Rowan Miller with a .529 mark at 18 total hits and 16RBI. Seth Ours has a team best 18 runs scored. On the mound, Hillcrest has a team ERA of 2.86 with a .228 opponent average on 69 hits, 32 earned runs, 25 walks and 73 strikeouts. Ours is 4-1 this year with a 2.69ERA.

Burlington Notre Dame is 17-3 on the year and a perfect 6-0 in the South Division of the Superconference. They dropped games to Davenport Assumption and Central DeWitt Saturday at the Williamsburg tournament by a 19-5 total. The Nikes are ranked No. 1 in Class 1A in the latest poll from the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association. They are hitting .365 as a team with a .489OBP and .518 slug with 177 runs on 160 hits with 80 walks and 51 strikeouts. Three Nikes are hitting .400 or better led by Landry Haberichter at .535 with a team best 27 runs scored. Spencer Brent has 25 hits and 23 driven in. On the mound the Notre Dame team ERA is 1.48 with a .149 opponent average on 67 total hits, 22 earned runs, and 134 strikeouts. Jaxson Sadler is 5-0 with a 0.86ERA. Notre Dame has won five straight in the series with the last Raven win coming in 2018.

The Raven girls are 7-7 this season, 5-4 in the North, after a split at their home tournament last weekend, beating Keota and falling to English Valleys. The Ravens are 5-4 in conference play. Hillcrest is hitting .313 as a team with a .428OBP and .438 slug, with 100 runs on 93 hits, 59 walks and 92 strikeouts. Three Ravens are hitting over .400 led by Malia Yoder at .528 with a team best 19 hits and 20 runs scored. Delaney Shaw leads with 22RBI. In the circle, Yoder has a 7-7 record with 65 innings thrown, and a .221 opponent average on 79 hits, 43 earned runs and 94Ks with a 4.58ERA.

Van Buren is 7-6 this season, 3-1 in the South, after dropping a 9-3 decision to Lone Tree last time out. The Warriors are hitting .325 as a club with a .406OBP and .407 slug. They have scored 83 runs on 108 hits with 47 walks and 60 strikeouts. Two Warriors are hitting over .400, led by Ashlynn Huff at .476 with 20 hits and 15 runs scored.
