The Mid-Prairie Community School District Board of Education met on Monday, June 10. One of the more impactful decisions from the board was renewing Superintendent Brian Stone’s contract through the 2025-26 school year.

Stone’s evaluation had been performed in a closed session on Saturday, June 8. In addition to his contract being renewed, the board also approved a three percent raise. This increases his salary to $160,715 and the total package to $211,096 for the upcoming school year. Both motions passed unanimously.

Stone has been serving the Mid-Prairie District as their Superintendent since July 2022. Before that, he was a principal in Fairfield.
