The Washington County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday and discussed the proposed fiscal year 2025 Washington County Ambulance Service fee rates. Washington County Ambulance Interim Director Katrina Altenhofen gives more information, “About a ten percent increase from this past year, which is pretty much what the GEMT is going with. Obviously your private services have not caught up with that, so they’ll still be where they are at now as far as our per diem for them. Every year the state tries to do a survey of all of the services to see what the rates are with folks, and so thirty-six services did respond on that rate, and gave where they are at, and we fall pretty well in line with that in what they are doing.” The Supervisors approved the rates for fiscal year 2025, and they will take effect on July 1st.
