The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk baseball program invites the community to their fundraiser event Sunday at Paul N. Bailey Field in Wellman. Activities start at 2p.m. and include a home run derby, long ball competition, whiffle ball game, kids games, silent auction and an alumni game featuring members of the 2004 Class 2A State Championship team, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their title. A special menu will be available at the concession stand featuring Flamin’ Flips BBQ pit. Admission is a free will donation and all proceeds benefit the Golden Hawk Baseball program.
