The Lone Tree Lions suffered a pair of losses on the diamond Friday night against Pekin. Lone Tree baseball fell behind 4-1 after two innings but rallied to tie the game with two runs of their own in the third and one in the top of the sixth. But the Panthers scored five times in the bottom of the sixth and would stay in front the rest of the way, going on to win 9-5.
