The Washington City Council approved a resolution that would amend certain charges and fees for the Elm Grove and Woodlawn Cemeteries in Washington. The Council approved changing the Saturday charge from $200 before noon and $400 afternoon to $200 if the funeral procession exits before 12 pm and $400 if the procession exits by 2 pm. There will be a $150 an-hour charge for processions that do not leave until after 2 pm. Interments will no longer be permitted after 2 pm on the weekends.
