The Columbus Wildcat softball team suffered a 14-0 loss to Van Buren County Monday. Columbus already trailed 3-0 in the first inning when Van Buren exploded for 11 runs in the second and would end the game after three frames.

Sophomores Daniela Diaz and Kennedy Woepking had the only hits of the game for the Wildcats, who now have a record of 6-20. Columbus next plays Friday against Winfield-Mount Union.
