The Winfield-Mount Union/Columbus Wolves fell to New London baseball 6-3 Tuesday. WMU/Columbus broke a scoreless tie with a run in the fourth inning and added two more tallies int the top of the fifth, but a five-run outburst by New London in the bottom of the fifth would be the difference.

The loss means the Wolves finish the regular season with a record of 8-11. Winfield-Mount Union/Columbus will begin the playoffs Saturday night with a first-round battle with Louisa Muscatine in Class 2A Substate 5.
