While the Jefferson County Fair officially came to a close on Monday, it will be remembered for a long time by Alisia Brock. The Pekin graduate was crowned as the 2024 Greater Jefferson County Fair Queen.

After meeting with the judges for group and individual interviews, Brock, along with the other contestants took to the stage in a ceremony held last Wednesday. 2023 Fair Queen Briana Steele was there to make the announcement and was the one to present Brock with the crown.

Brock will attend the University of Iowa in the fall, where she plans to study political science and pre-law. Additional participants in the Jefferson County Fair Queen Contest were Kaleigh Adrian who received first runner up, and Miss Congeniality, Chloe Frescoln.
