Lone Tree resident and council member Nick Gluba announced last month his candidacy for the District 1 US House Seat in Iowa. Gluba will be representing the Libertarian Party.

Among the key issues prioritized by Gluba are individual liberty, property rights, and economic prosperity. A Veteran of the Marine Corps, he supports gun ownership, but opposes unnecessary military interventions.

Iowa Congressional District 1 is made up of 20 counties in southeast Iowa, including Washington, Keokuk, Jefferson, Henry, Louisa, Iowa, and Johnson.
