The pretrial conference and jury trial for a Kalona man have been rescheduled after an order for continuance was filed last month.
Twenty-one-year-old Keegan Gingerich was arrested in February on six felony charges, including sexual exploitation of a minor, stalking, and purchasing or possessing a depiction of a minor in a sex act. The order of continuance was filed on June 21, the day in which the pretrial conference was to be originally held.
As of now, the pretrial conference is scheduled for Thursday, August 22 in the Washington County Courthouse. The jury trial, which was initially set to begin today, will now commence on Tuesday, September 10.
KCII will have more information as it becomes official.
